A first in this genre, CITIZENS FOR CITY initiative piloted at Hyderabad has been acknowledged as an innovation in the Indian urban landscape and is being replicated in other Indian cities. The AP Government on its part has taken steps for implementing some of the strategies that were selected.

CITIZENS FOR CITY is a replicable governance model for other Indian cities irrespective of their socio-economic, geographical and political backgrounds.
